Court Cuts in Northwich should not delay Justice

The citizens of Northwich region have gathered and started a campaign. The campaign is to make sure that the injured people do not suffer due to the cuts that are proposed by the government.

A non profit body, Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) is battling it out to make sure that any of cases in the Northwich County are solved within 20 working days. County courts are mostly approached for personal injury cases because of this the residents of Northwich are facing delays in getting justice for the other cases. Amidst all this there are plans of closing down 54 county courts and 103 magistrates. This move is initiated to save £36 million every year.

Due to the increase in the number of injury claims cases and their prolonged trials, Northwich people are unable to get justice in their own County court. Thus the APIL has asked for an assurance from the Ministry of Justice to have a set time frame to solve the cases.

This will make the justice process smooth going and no one will have to wait for long to be heard. It is the duty of the County government to see to it that any court matter is solved within the region itself and people need not approach other courts in search of justice. Currently such cases are on a rise and people are spending a lot of time in traveling to other regions.

The APIL is not against the cost cuts but just wants an assurance that the closing down of courts will not result in delays in the giving justice to people.
